Haircut

So, here is my new "do". I realized that my hair had been growing for almost 3 years! I had trimmed it from time to time and even cut bangs a couple of times, but it had reached the middle of my back. When the cute little girl with bright pink hair asked what I wanted to do, I just told her that I wanted lots of layers and that it had to be easy to take care of.

It is just hair, it will grow. I am easy, I don't get too exited about bad haircuts. Good things, since I have had more than a few. My mother used to practice on my sister and I when she was learning to be a beautician. I have had some really strange hair experiments. There was the time she put a perm .... in my bangs! Just my bangs. It was different.

But back to my recent adventure. I like it! It is so easy to take care of. My neck misses the long tresses that used to keep it warm at night, but my scalp is happy that a certain puppy is not chewing the hair and trying to pull it out.

Very nice!

My neck gets cold at night, so I've been tying a scarf around it before I go to bed.

It's cute. I'm in the process of growing mine that long.

Kathy--It's darling. If I looked that cute, I'd show the picture all over the place.

Is that natural curl? If so, I WILL stop by and flatten a couple of your tires... I am THAT green with envy. ;)

That looks great! It is obvious that you didn't go to my slasher at Terrible Cuts.

I love your haircut! I wear mine really short now too. And I don't get worked up about a bad haircut. It will grow faster than I care for it too!!

it's very attractive. I keep my hair short most of the time now.it just gets in the way when it's long. The woman who cuts my hair is very good. the first time I went to her I told her to work with the natural curl, off my neck and out of my face, and needs to be a wash and towel dry and go cut.

Love your new haircut. Did you get it colored, too, or is this natural? It is so gorgeous.

I like your new do. If only I could find a wash and wear style for my straight, thick hair which will not hold curl. What is poor little Eddie going to do?

Thanks everybody! No, that is NOT a natural curl! I have a ton of product in it and I used a curling iron. The color is my own, what you cannot see is the gray at my temples. I will be adding some hi-lites to blend with the gray. It turns blonde in the sun, but winter leaves it sort of brownish. Eddie thinks he is my new neck warmer. He likes to drape himself over my neck and while he is nice and warm, he does get a little heavy and I like to breathe. My hair is baby fine and thin. Today I left out the curling iron and just went straight with the sides tucked behind my ears. That was easy and the layers still had enough body.
