Big Mouth Bass

I guess these aren't called big mouth bass for nothing! Jamison is holding the fish that was caught in our pond today. He didn't catch this one, but he is reported to have caught his share.
Cody wasn't inclined to hang onto this fish even though his friend is willing to share.

This is Cody's Dad. He is the one who caught this. He is also known as Eugene our helper of all things involving the operating of big equipment.
Today was one of those perfect days. The weather was neither hot or cold. Just a slow stream of customers allowing me to read blogs and get caught up on some filing. August has arrived and I just might survive this season!

Cody decides to keep trying for that big one of his own!

August is usually our hottest month but strangely enough, yesterday, it was probably still hot but compared the the last several weeks, it seemed almost cooler. Well, I wouldn't say cool exactly, but definitely not as hot.

Glad you had an easy day for a change.

I need a quiet, peaceful fishing day myself!

Hi:)

Greetings:)

The fish really has a big mouth for its size. It can swallow a crocodile.

Lovely children learning the tricks of the trade.

We are having heavy rains in Kochi. Monsoon is in full swing.

Have a nice day:)

Fishing with kids can be so much fun. I remember when my two oldest were 3 and 6. Shaun (the 6 year old) was fishing but I decided that Amy (she was 3) was too young. When she saw all the other bobbers floating around, she reached down into some guy's tackle box, grabbed a bobber, and before I could stop her, threw it out into the water. Then, she said "Now, I'm fishing!" as she walked away. Thankfully, the guy was very good natured and he just laughed and laughed.

Kids love to fish!!! My boys love it when their daddy takes them out to catch a "big" one. LOL!! A big one is usually just 3 to 5 inches long.

August is here, and pretty soon summer will be over and your camping season should slow down. Then you can relax! Do you guys go anywhere or is your campground open all year?
