It has rained all night for the past two nights. Remember that I have lots of tent campers. No complaints from these folks, though. The rain has stopped each morning in time for everyone to get up and enjoy the day. This morning the temperature rose and I noticed kids in the pool for the first time this weekend.
My gardens have been loving the nightly showers. I picked a little bouquet and made an apple cake. As I contemplated closing for the evening yesterday, this little rig came looking for a spot. I confess that I was envious and would have given anything to see the inside. I do have some self control, although I was tempted to ask.

Looks like a good time was had by all...including you! Great shots here!

I am so glad you are having a good weekend for a change. :-)
This campground is full, too, but has been pretty quiet. Although we've been visiting my daughter during the day! It's quiet when we pull in at night. It rained here last night, and threatened to today, but we only had a few sprinkles for about 5 minutes! That "tiny" rig looked a little like ours from the side, but we have triple axles. I notice the trees are turning by you already. I've seen a couple here doing so already, too. Hope tomorrow is a calm day for you as the campers leave.
the apple cake looks delicious
what a cutie enjoying an apple from your tree!
I'm glad the church people are enjoying their time at your campground and have been behaving themselves (I say this very sincerely; they are trying to be a good example of what they believe in with their faith; that's good to hear; hope they continue on for the rest of the weekend with you :)

Sounds like you are having a lovely weekend.
I can't believe that tree is already changing. Sigh.
Won't be long before we are apple picking around here and my pumpkins are turning orange..
I just love the change of seasons. Don't you?
I enjoy camping when it rains at night, then clears off for the day. And your church group playing music must have been so nice for the other campers.
I know your work is hard and the days are long, but it must be wonderful meeting and greeting so many people. My husband and I used to go camping about one weekend a month every summer when we were younger. Those are some of my fondest memories. I really love hearing about your campground and campers.
Oh I know what you mean about the flippin rain. Dear God, we will all evolve to have webbed feet in a decade or so. I think I might pitch my tent up in the Sahara just to get a bit of sun for a change. Altogether now....Raindrops keep falling on my head......
I'm not bashful, I would have asked!
I would have asked too...I am so happy that you managed to have a great weekend.
sounds like you are having a wondeful weekend. and a little rain never hurt any body...that is a hugee trailer! hope the rest went well!
I'm so glad that your end of summer weekend is going well. I love the flowers and that cake is calling my name.
I want the cake...for the health reasons, of course. Give it!
Tank & I saw that little rig go by my back window as it was turning the corner to go down the road, coming all the way around my rig, so I got a good view. I was thinking "leave the truck, leave the truck!!!!" Nice rig! I am envious of the truck! :)
Oh and send me some of that healthy cake! I have Italian Cream Cake for the same reason--it has pecans so it must be healthy! :)
