Gardens Alive

I took your advice and whitewashed the wishing well. Still looking for some petunias to plant, in the meantime my hanging houseplants will do.

Old wheelbarrow with only one handle ........ new planter.

Tickseed is blooming already.

Clematis, too .........

The Easter lily is late, though.

Tiny peaches grace the trees, tons of them!

Pathetic cherry tree is half dead ........

but the part that is alive has cherries.

Maybe the new growth will take over soon.

Strawberry blossoms ......

turn  into luscious berries. The grounds are alive with signs of spring. Besides mowing endlessly, I have a store to whip into shape. Displays to move. New doorways to trim out and paint. Picnic tables to paint, porches to scrub, weeds to spray.

Gotta go!

And the whitewash is great, too. It looks lovely; hope you can slow down a little soon.

My bucket list has never been very long to begin with and I find that things that "I REALLY want to do before I die..." shortens with each day. There are things that I take off of it because of time and the fact they don't fall in the REALLY [want to] category anymore.

I say this because I am sure that my wish to come and see you and your lovely gardens, which bring me such happiness and joy each year, will never leave my list. I just hope I can put a check mark next to it soon.

I hope that you continue to share your talents and hard work with us. I hope you realize how very much we enjoy your labors of love.

Take care my friend. Hugs!

Hope tonight's cold weather doesn't hurt your plants!

If you capture some of those peaches inside bottles and freeze a couple gallons of ripe ones for me I can make a nice Mead out of them. :)

you could try this on the bad half of your cherry tree.
