I Had A Dream ..........

With the weekend here my inner clock was confused this morning and woke me at 5 am ........... a day early. So, I went back to sleep. It was just chilly enough with a fan in the window to snuggle under a quilt with three dogs tucked close to me.

Feeling nostalgic as I dozed, remembering being a young girl tucked into bed with my cousins at my Aunt Hazel's house, the big fan in the window at the head of the bed blowing the delicious cold night air on three giggly girls. I was in the middle ....... to keep the sisters from fighting over who would sleep next to me. Happy memories.

So, why did I dream that I was in a WalMart rolling a cart endlessly through the store, unable to locate the check-outs? Why didn't I dream about my cousins? Or my aunt? Or my childhood? No, I am not going to WalMart today. I am painting picnic tables and pulling weeds (again). I woke up annoyed and unsettled. WalMart, why?????????

Well, I am certainly no dream analyst but I would say that your Walmart dream signified you searching for something...maybe emotional comfort, friendship, contact with the family members you were thinking about before you drifted off...??????

Dreams are weird for sure..

I'd tend to agree with luksky...

Now how about me? I dreamed about whores in church.

chilly? are you kidding me? we're so far from chilly I would settle for not hot.

I guess Walmart is your particular anxiety dream.

maybe you've spent too much time at Walmart recently? Or maybe you've been thinking about going to Walmart to pick up something? But then Luksky's answer is better..

Apparently it's a week for odd dreams.

yeah, i'd say you were right to stay away from walmart today. those people of walmart can be downright scary

Rolling the cart endlessly through our newly re-organized Wal-mart, unable to locate ANYTHING, is my *reality*. Can't find anything, and it takes forever to find my way out.

Perhaps you're running out of supplies, and subconsciously feel a shopping trip coming on??

I think a dream of Walmart would probably qualify as a nightmare.

But wait...did your cart have a bad wheel that didn't want to cooperate with the other three? Or did it just squeak? Now THAT'S a nightmare for sure!

how many of the "people of wal-mart" did you see? now, those are the stuff true nightmares are made of.

Ah, but I hear that if you can't find it at WalMarts it isn't worth having...so if you turn down that last aisle you'll find your Aunt and cousins and that warm quilt that kept the chill of night air something to be longed for!
Been gone a while, but back and so glad to see you, Kathy!
hugs
Sandi

This made me laugh. Dreams are very weird things. It sounds to me as if you are looking for something? Or maybe the WalMart ads are getting into your subconscious. Subliminal advertising... :-)
