I Can't Help Myself .....

Sometimes I just can't help myself. I like to wonder about the day to day lives of folks I meet along the way. I sit here behind the counter and quote prices, make reservations and answer endless questions. I give directions, I redirect, and I try to enforce safety rules. Some days are good and some are not so good. So, can you really blame me if I entertain myself sometimes?

Opportunity just seems to present itself so enticingly at times and I just can't help but take advantage ................ I don't do it with a mean spirit. Can I help it if I find humor in everyday life?

With all this in mind, I ask you what the future holds for this young man? Plumber?

ah I hate to tell you but I see these all the time on the school kiddos. It makes me want to call their parents and tell them that they need to buy their child a belt. Or at least let me buy it for them....

People are always making fun of the fashions of the 70's and 80's but I swear that those pants around the weinie/hip/half heiny cheeks DRIVE ME NUTS. It looks so stupid.

In the young man's defense tho' - his pants may have slipped down just a wee bit too far, hence the plumber's crack [get it? heehee]

the aide in ron's rehab room this morning taking his vitals before we left had his pants half way down his arse, too. i said, "oh look - you're losing your pants" and he did pull them up a fraction of an inch. i want to walk around behind these guys and pull their pants up for them. if i wanted to see underwear or butt cracks, i can go look at mine.

You know they have the "FFA", Future Farmers of America - maybe they should start a "FPA" - Future PLUMBERS of America - and this kid could join! That is too funny!

Sadly, he reminds me of our neighbor boys, known all over town, I kid you not, as The Village Idiots! Even worse, their last name is Hamm. They have delusions of growing up to be wrestlers. Ahhhh, youth!

I think it's also the way pants are made these days. They seem to be cut a lot lower than what they use to be. I find myself having to constantly pull up my jeans too...and I'm an "old lady". :-)

Well, that unfortunate young man has already got the "plumber's crack", all he needs now is the tool belt. So sad...
