There Is Hope For Wi-Fi

I am still having Internet issues. I can get on, but just as easily get knocked off. Early in the morning is the easiest time to get on ........ and also the best time to get my garden chores done. I am sort of stuck inside through the middle of the afternoon. And that is when I think one of my tenants, who swears she cannot get on-line is streaming movies. She tells me she has never been on-line here, then on another occasion mentions how much she likes my web page ......

So, I am here, at my computer, instead of mowing.
I am still convinced that the wind from the tornado has something to do with this issue. The satellite tower is very close by. Ironically, I registered two men this past Sunday. They will be here for up to 6 months, working in the area. So, like the gynecologist who likes to chat while he works, I asked where they would be working while they filled out the registration. They work for a tower cell company! And, yes, they will be working on my tower and they do work for Sprint (my provider)!!! I am so happy! Some one actually heard me!

As I was answering questions about the amenities of the park, one asked about wi-fi. I told him it would be fantastic as soon as he fixed it! I have high hopes.

This is why I haven't been commenting. I will compose an award winning comment and then it will suddenly disappear as I am knocked off-line. Very frustrating.

OMG...perhaps the anticipation of having fantastic Wi-Fi will actually spur them on to get you on line for good and all! I hope so my dear friend. I hope so...

I remember staying at campgrounds where "streaming" wasn't allowed due to the amount of bandwith it takes up. Is the lady who is streaming movies using your wi-fi or does she have a different service? If she is using YOUR wi-fi, then THAT could be your problem.

Don't give them a discount just because they're doing their job. Happy wi-fi-ing.

That's such a funny coincidence and absolutely perfect.

I swear I would rent a room to an agent from Verizon just to get better internet.

[And for clarification? That was said as a joke. I don't want anyone affiliated with Verizon near me. Jail and me? We don't get along. hee]

Good luck. We miss you, but if you post here at least we know you are okay.

Take care. And happy gardening. xo JG

Long time, no read... :)

Glad to see you. I've had wi-fi troubles myself lately. Seems the person currently taking care of our yard work severed the cable line. But, it's all up and running now. Just need to keep it that way! I seriously need to catch up on things.

I think that tower will be the first they work on especially if they were young. Those of us of a mature age can do without wi-fi but not those that were raise on it.

I've been having Sprint issues in the evening, between 5:00 and 8:00. It slows to a crawl, and cuts off. I hope your movie-streamers aren't traveling across the state. And there's no way I could ever watch a movie with my connection. I'm lucky to get a five-minute video to load.
