Easter Sunday Surprise

We are going on a picnic at the airport! Cupcakes are in the oven, potato salad is ready and fried chicken will be picked up on the way. My son and his family and one of my daughters and her son are traveling home from Disney World today. They will have a layover in St. Louis, so Gramma is in her apron and will be in the kitchen cooking. I love to feed my kids. I am so excited to get to see them. Grampa hasn't seen them yet this year and he is off work. Everything just fell into place.

If only my other daughter had gone to Disney World for Spring break, too............. I will be happy just to talk to her, though. Now, I have to go back to the kitchen. Wishing the land of blog a blessed day!

How awesome! Congrats on getting to spend the layover with them. I'm sure they're going to love having the homecooked "picnic" meal delivered to them.

Happy Easter!

Hello Kathy
Its not raining still is it? That would be a real downer to the fun - wonder if they will let you have a picnic in the terminal? I do hope you didn't forget to take the camera - we want to see the picnic and the family have fun

Happy Easter!! Cuppycakes.... mmmmmm!!!

From all indications, your kids had glorious weather here in Florida for their Disney trip. First solid week of sun and warm so far this year! Good timing.

Now, pass the potato salad please...
