Say It Ain't So!!!!!!

I was outside all afternoon. It was glorious. Look at the buds on my maple tree. The sky was so blue and a gentle wind was blowing......... pollen up my nose. But I didn't care. Really. I was so happy to be outside.
Did I get too close? Blurry, I know. But the daylillies are pushing up to the surface.

My two lips are smiling over the tulip bulbs that are coming up.

The sedum is happy that the sun is shining down and it is over 60 degrees. This sedum is known locally as "live forever". It is true. I haven't managed to kill it.

The strawberry plants are thriving and I should have a good crop this year.

This is what the roads look like. This is one that is relatively good shape. Wet. Everything is still wet. When I walk across the grass it makes sucking noises and water seeps up around my shoes.

Here comes my man on his tractor to begin his adventure in filling potholes.
So we spend the day happily repairing all that winter has done. I got most of the area around the pool weeded and cleaned up. Some of my gardens are looking a little sad, the ground is too wet and I have found some bulbs and plants dead and rotting. I have sneezed enough for one day and come in to get our supper on the stove. Turn on the news to hear the weather ...............
The forecast is for SNOW tomorrow. Snow, in fact any precipitation is exactly what we do not need! Nothing can be done about it, I suppose I should just go back out and enjoy the sun until it is gone.

Yeah, here too. After two glorious weeks of spring we are getting another front blowing in tonight. Down into the 30s and rain tomorrow.

They changed the forecast for St. Louis. Earlier in the week they said we'd get snow, but now MSN weather has the highs for the next few days in the 40s with a good chance of rain. Not great weather, but not as bad as it could be.

Hey don't feel so bad. Here in Central Texas we are getting some low temps this weekend. It's really going to suck for us after having such beautiful weather for the past few weeks...

Snow? Not more snow! I am so ready for a big bloomin' spring. Our little crocuses that my Brownie troop planted are starting to poke up. Ah...

Already raining ice here. Isaiah told me that someone was running the shower outside. LOL! Supposed to get between 4-8 inches (just depends on which weather forecaster you listen to... 4-6 or 6-8).

Stay warm. We're going to be bundled in for the weekend.

And THAT my dear Kathy, is why green is quickly becoming my very favorite color.

Congratulations on spring buds! Nothing like it after a brutal winter. Yay. Happy days are here again!

That's about what my maple tree looks like...I'm so happy that spring is here. It looks like ya'll aren't quite done, huh? Well, lets hope it doesn't last long!

Happy first day of Spring. It is official now. I didn't think it would ever arrive or winter would end. Even with predictions for cold and rain I am happy.

OMG!!! SNOW will it ever end this year... I think it is the worse winter I have ever seen over the whole country... I hope it doesn't show up on your doorstep my friend. Your little plants are coming along nicely and I wouldn't want anything to spoil them... Have a wonderful day

Those strawberries plants look wonderful. You're going to have some lovely strawberries this year.

We have not had any snow at all in Vancouver -- even during the winter Olympics. *sigh* The cherry trees are in full bloom right now, and the scent in the air is wonderful. The tulips and daffodils are almost finished, and the roses are blooming. It's very strange.

Good grief! I am still amazed by the amount of work you do! Makes me feel quite lazy. Your campground is probably the nicest one I've ever seen though. Snow? *shudders*

Same here, calling for snow showers in the morning. They say it won't stick since it was in the high 60's today and the ground is too warm. I'm tired of snow, would rather not have it...

I did check around and the only thing I could find within our budget is something where he has to be able to get himself to the street and be visible and ready to go. That won't work for him at all, which is too bad. The medical transportation is $30 each way, payable in cash at pickup. Not good.

And was it so - did it snow??

Isn't it great not to have frozen pipes!

I have buds on my maple tree also!

So near & yet so far... Spring.
We are officially in Autumn, but the temperatures belie that fact. It is hot & sooo humid.

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was
super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any suggestions for beginner blog writers? I'd genuinely appreciate it.
