My sister and my dad used to get it if somebody merely said POISON IVY. They toughed it out with calamine lotion. I'm sure they did not have such a severe reaction like you.

Hope somebody can offer a remedy to take away your misery.Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13025832536749983018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1673736213160843245.post-49570398178697753162014-09-09T17:19:33.562-05:002014-09-09T17:19:33.562-05:00mj - I use the soap regularly. If I even think I may have touched anything poison, I wash right away. I just stayed in that particular garden too long, determined to get the root out, before I showered.
Oh, I also use the Fels Naptha soap and make my own detergent.Kathy's Klotheslinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17881966393157941515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1673736213160843245.post-79399428028678209552014-09-09T10:20:45.669-05:002014-09-09T10:20:45.669-05:00Can you buy a dozen or so of disposable hazard ove...Can you buy a dozen or so of disposable hazard overalls to have on hand for your next onslaught of poison anything eradication?Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834682329952369721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1673736213160843245.post-85860077903830563702014-09-09T09:44:41.518-05:002014-09-09T09:44:41.518-05:00When out in the woods working I like to use Fels N...When out in the woods working I like to use Fels Naptha Soap to make sure the poison oak oil is cleaned away. Cold showers are the ONLY way to go as you don't want the oils getting into your pores anymore than necessary. You can get it from Amazon, CVS, and possibly Walmart. It's usually in the laundry aisle.

mj

msj09027https://www.blogger.com/profile/17250973896133004027noreply@blogger.com
